Its Coming

It’s coming! A snowstorm you ask? Spring? No, no! The new ACME Market in Beach Haven Park is coming! If you pass by the Acme site late at night on weekdays, you will most likely see lights and activity because they seem to be working all hours to get our new store open. And with Murphy’s the only “game in town” if you don’t want to venture over the bridge, the new expanded Acme is a welcomed sight. A spokeswoman for the company says they “have a projected store opening in the late spring.” The new supermarket will be 82 percent larger than the former store and will have a new landscaped parking lot with new lighting as well. New features inside the store will be Grab-and-Go foods, an olive and antipasto bar, hot side dishes, fresh made sushi and sandwiches and an on-site bakery. And with this expansion will be new aisles! No more getting hung up in the previously narrow aisles and register lanes. So with the summer crowds approaching, join me in looking very much forward to the Grand Opening of our new ACME!
