Volunteer Saturday for Holgate Clean Up

This Saturday, May 4, Holgate residents are teaming up with neighborly groups to continue cleaning up the southern most part of Long Beach Island, hardest hit by Sandy. Clean up coordinators will start to assemble 7:30am in the parking lot at the end of Long Beach Blvd in Holgate, across from the Jolly Roger Motel. Volunteers may show up anytime between 7:30am and 12 noon to be assigned to one of nine areas designated fpr trash and debris removal. T-Shirts, trash bags, gloves and LUNCH at noon are bring provided by Patrick Dauria and his enviornmental company Bio Resource Solutions, Inc. All clean up participants are asked to wear sturdy shoes, long pants, and long-sleeved shirts. Volunteers may also get a FREE tetanus shot prior to the event by making an appointment with LBI Health Dept. at 609-492-1212. For more information visit holgatetaxpayers.org/web
